Adam Scott
M.Sc. Student

Adam Scott (not the golfer...or the actor) is a Masters of Science student co-supervised by Dr. Mark Hanson (University of Manitoba) and Dr. Jose Luis Rodriguez-Gil (IISD – Experimental Lakes Area) in the Stress Ecology Lab. With study sites located at the IISD-Experimental Lakes Area in Northwestern Ontario, his research examines the effects of chronic conventional heavy crude oil exposure on the growth, development, and behaviour of larval wood frogs. Obtaining a Bachelor of Environmental Studies with a focus on Wildlife Management at the University of Manitoba, Adam's passion for wetlands and wetland species has helped him collaborate with NGOs as well as provincial and federal governments on wetland conservation and research efforts across the prairies during his undergraduate studies.
