Nate is a graduate from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Science. He obtained a B.Sc with a Major in Microbiology and a minor in Biology. When he's not climbing Nate can be found in the lab analyzing samples of emergent insects from the IISD-Experimental Lakes Area, which are part of a Quaternary Ammonium Compound (QAC) experiment to determine how fresh water and its inhabiting organisms may be affected by commonly used surface cleaners which are present in everyday life, and were commonly used during the COVID-19 pandemic.
