Laura Gasque is a Ph.D student in the Department of Geography and Environment at the University of Manitoba. Co-supervised by Dr. Hanson (University of Manitoba) and Dr. Hecker (University of Saskatchewan), she is working on the characterization of specific toxicity pathways induced by complex mixtures of contaminants present in groundwater by using the fathead minnow fish model. Her results will be used in a larger effect-directed analysis (EDA) framework in order to identify the main elements leading to toxicity on industrial sites.
